Amazingly, over the years Gene has applied to trademark 182 different things, including various lines with his name in them, and his lengthy tongue. But in June 2017 Gene Simmons took a whole new application to court. This time the musician was looking to trademark the rock-and-roll bull hand sign, but he was in for a fight ,as not only had a number of musicians previously pulled the hand gesture, but American sign language uses it to mean “I love you.”
