The concerns went wild: some believed that Walmart was pocketing the money for themselves, while others spoke of how they thought the cashier had added the charge themselves so they could take the money out of the register without anyone noticing. The detectives of the internet believed the ‘k’ on the receipt meant the cashier had hand typed the extra charge.
