One of the biggest changes to the American homeland when Walmart rolled into town was the fact that it allegedly led to the closing down of small mom and pop shops all over the United States.
Whenever Walmart moved to town, there was always a strange phenomenon whereby all of the small shops which had been thriving in town centers always ran out of business. The owners of these shops say that they couldn’t compete with Walmart’s low prices. Walmart denies the allegations.
