Underwood’s third album Play On featured the artist taking a more mainstream approach. For the first time in her career she teamed up with pop music royalty Max Martin. Martin is the producer responsible for some of the biggest hits of all time including Baby One More Time by Britney Spears and I Can’t Feel My Face by The Weeknd. The two stars collaborated on Quitter, a country-pop jam about letting love into your life. The song received critical acclaim and the album became another bestseller for Underwood.
