Jerry grew up in Mesquite, Texas with a medical librarian mother and truck driver father and twin sister, Terry, and three older sisters. She attended and graduated from North Mesquite High School, and shortly after moved to France where she was discovered in a hostel by a fashion agent. Her modeling career took off, and she met Rolling Stones frontman, Mick Jagger, in 1977 at the peak of her career, with whom she has four children. Hall is currently married to business magnate Rupert Murdoch.
