In his later life, Burt would date Pam Seals, a woman he met while on the set of Reynolds’ TV crime mystery B. L. Stryker. Seals appeared on the show in 1989 and several years later the pair would enter a relationship together. Things seemed to be going smoothly for a while, but there were reports they had a stormy relationship. Following their breakup in 2000, Reynolds would actually file a lawsuit against Seals after he accused her of trying to extort him for reportedly keeping his bad behavior under wraps.
