Seals and Reynolds had been close friends for 10 years until the relationship took a sour turn. Reynolds was rumored to have transformed Seals’ life as when the pair met she was bartending but he gave her vast quantities of money, cars, private assistants and the use of one of Reynolds’s homes. Reynolds reportedly gave a lump sum to Seals when they broke up, but she was said to want more from him. On hearing of his death, Seals said she was very sad and called Reynolds a wonderful man.
