It was rumored Reynolds and Day were dating, but the pair kept their relationship under wraps, and it isn’t known exactly when they were enjoying each other’s company. Day was married four times throughout her life, and her husbands included saxophonist George Weidler and producer Martin Melcher to whom she was married for 17 years. Day would file for bankruptcy following the passing of husband Melcher in 1968, so she continued to perform into the later years of her life, including releasing a studio album titled My Heart in 2011.
