Mamie Van Doren first gained attention from the media for being one of the first actresses to try resembling Marilyn Monroe. She was best known for her role in the 1957 drama Untamed Youth, and although her fame had dwindled, when she released her autobiography in 1987, she caused a huge splash. She spilled the details on many of her affairs, but since then has struggled to remain in the public eye. She has released several albums in recent years, including 2011’s Still a Troublemaker.
