Following on from the disappointment of her show being canceled, White found herself with time to host the game show ‘Just Men!’. During 1983 White was nominated for a Daytime Emmy, becoming the first woman ever to have been nominated for the award. The amount that she had worked on game shows over the previous years earned White the title of being the first lady of the game shows. This would not be the end of her acting career though as White soon bagged a role in ‘Mama’s Family’.
