For a lot of people, their day cannot get started without that morning cup of coffee. It’s one of the best things to get you started, but it’s not the best for your body. In small quantities, there may be some benefits for your health, but it is also known to irritate the stomach, dehydrate you, give you a headache and stain your teeth. With that in mind, maybe it’s time to look for something that’s a little better for you, so here are some options to get you started

Kombucha Tea

Originating from the Far East, Kombucha is a fermented drink using black tea or sometimes green tea, various sugars, bacteria, and yeast. This makes it a good probiotic and is an excellent source of B vitamins, B12 in particular. Pomegranate juice is packed with antioxidants, almost three times more than is found in green tea which will protect cells and reduce inflammation. It is also an excellent source of vitamin C, as the juice of just one pomegranate can provide you with about 40% of the vitamin C you need for the day. Black tea, as opposed to green and white tea, is fermented and oxidized when processed which provides some of its health benefits. It has a positive effect on cardiovascular disease, can help to relieve the symptoms of asthma, can reduce digestive issues and cholesterol.
