A few months after Chip and Joanna fixed up their first home, they posted photos of the transformation online. Within days, the pair received a phone call from the HGTV network, offering them the chance to appear on their own show.
Chip immediately thought that the phone call was a joke, and told his wife to ignore the pranksters. Yet, Joanna decided to see what the people on the other line had to say for themselves – and it’s a good thing she did, as the pair have now been on our screens for five wonderful years.
