Andrea’s death was one of the most surprising ones in the series, considering that her comic book character lives far past that point and even gets together with Rick. When the group gets into conflict with The Governor of the Woodbury compound (another group of survivors), Andrea becomes involved with The Governor and tries to broker a truce. But things go awry with the cruel Governor, and when Andrea tries to escape Woodbury – she gets bit in the neck by researcher Milton, after he’s killed and is reanimated into a walker.
