We can’t say we were sorry to say goodbye to Ed, Carol’s abusive husband. If one good thing came out of the whole zombie apocalypse ordeal, is it made Carol able to stand up to Ed, with the help of her fellow survivors. When Ed strikes Carol, Shane beats him and threatens him to never hit another woman, or his child, again. While recovering from his injuries in a tent, he’s attacked and killed by walkers. To prevent him from turning into a walker, Carol then bashes his head.
