Deanna’s son, Spencer, hasn’t faired well either, but this one was his own fault. While Rick is out gathering food to give Negan, to prevent him from hurting his people, Spencer tells Negan that Rick isn’t a good leader, and that he should kill him and make Spencer leader instead. Negan, however, has no appreciation for traitors, and therefore tells Spencer that he’s lacking in guts – before turning this statement quite literal using a knife. When Spencer reanimates, Rick has the pleasure of ending the zombified traitor himself.
