When you have a giant group of inmates who have all done something wrong (allegedly) to get where they’ve gotten to, it stands to reason that they might start talking about their experiences with each other.
This can be nice if their intentions are to reflect and feel remorse, but what if they want to share further negative plans with one another? For this reason, prisoners are actually kept separated in their own sectors, to keep them from doing this.
