When the singer was a 12-year-old boy, his sister was into going out with her friends to watch shows. One time there was a knock at their door, her friend had come to pick her up. Kenny’s sister ran to open it, and her mom cried out that she must let Kenny come along.
And so, the hit-maker would keep his sister company to the show, where he saw Ray Charles Perform. By the end of the show, he knew what he wanted to be: a performer.
