For the longest time, Kenny had kept mum on matters of religion and spirituality. But he must have realized that most of his hardcore fans were advancing in age, and he experimented with an inspirational Gospel album.
In 2011, the Love of God came out as a collection of Gospel songs. He worked with Warren Hartman and Kyle Lehning in the production of the album. He had guessed right; the album received raving reviews; his hard-core fans are the grounded type who hold religion dear.
