Many people thought Catherine would be upset and angry with her daughter for spending so much of their money on dolls. However, the mother admitted Katelyn had no idea what she was doing when she ordered the toys. Sure, Katelyn knew she would be getting new dolls, but she had no concept of money. After all, she is a six-year-old that is just about to start the first grade. In fact, Catherine believes the problem is hers as she should have been paying closer attention to Katelyn.
