Sometimes when we buy things we get more than we bargained for. Usually this means that you have a faulty product, or something that’s difficult to use. Yet, one woman found something in an old dresser that definitely wasn’t included in the price. The woman, Mary Gorman, had just moved house in Caryville, Tennessee, and she needed some cheap furniture to turn the house into a home. It was a mystery how someone could have forgotten the items inside the dresser, and Mary was determined to get to the bottom of it.

Mary Gorman was in search of some new furniture to fill her brand new home. A resident of Caryville in East Tennessee, Gorman was planning on refurbishing her home to make it a nice place to live.
She had no idea the old drawers she would buy would provide such a compelling story, all she was expecting to find inside was plenty of dust! When she moved the drawers into her home, she noticed that they hadn’t been checked by the person who sold them to her, leaving hidden treasure inside.

As many people do from time to time, Mary Gorman wanted to move house. She had been in her old place for long enough, and it was time to find someplace new. Gorman settled on a home in a nice neighborhood, with plenty of space for her to rattle about in.
She moved into the new property but didn’t have enough furniture to make it homely, so she decided to find some pieces that would add character to the house.
