As parents, you only want the best for your child. You want them to be happy, you want them to be healthy, and you want them to thrive at school. Of course, most of us don’t expect our kids to be the next Einstein or Malala Yousafzai, but knowing that they are engaging in their lessons, having fun with their friends, and being polite to their teachers is enough to make a parents’ heart fill with pride. Because you want your children to enjoy their education, you hope that they won’t ever come home with a note from a member of staff.
After all, these notes normally mean they have been naughty, they’ve been given detention, or they’ve failed their pop quiz. While you can’t control how your child behaves in a school environment, you hope in your heart that you’ve taught them well over the years. That’s why one couple was so shocked when they received a note from the school bus driver. As they read what the woman had to say, they couldn’t believe their eyes. Was she really talking about their children? What had they done? Were they in trouble? The reality of the situation was much more serious than that.

When Cindy Clausen decided to write her note, it was just another normal day. The bus was filling up with students, the chatter of excited children made its way down the aisle, and Cindy was ready for another morning of work.
At the time, she had no intentions to write a note to the parents of two of her students – but then something happened that changed everything. She knew she couldn’t let the incident slide, and she had to say something. The parents needed to know what was going on in her school bus.
