Although they dated on and off for several years, it seemed as though Kate and William were destined to be together. They have been close since 2001, and there came a time when Kate had to introduce William to her family. Although William’s family is considered upper class, Kate was not brought up all that differently.
The pair have been dating since they went to college together and it seems as though Carole – Kate’s mother – has always approved of her daughter’s choice in partner. Carole and her husband are very much in the upper class themselves, but since William came along, they are now very close to the Royal Family. Maybe Carole always knew her daughter would marry into royalty!
