Falling in love is one of the best things to happen to most people. It isn’t always a smooth ride, and we have to take the good with the bad, but most of the time, it’s the most thrilling experience. For one couple, their love story began in a pretty unique way, which really put the “falling” into “falling in love.”

Damien LeRoy was paragliding in 2016, but things didn’t turn out quite as he wanted them to. The thrill-seeker was in a serious accident while partaking in the sport, which nearly took his life. Damien had a stunt camera, called a GoPro, attached to him.
He was able to watch the whole accident back, and watch as he fell 150 feet to the ground. Although the accident left him with a broken back, pelvis, sternum, femur, and ribs, he was lucky to still be alive.
