After her breakthrough in the 60s, Faye Dunaway became a real star during the 70s. She appeared in several roles over the first few years of the 70s, such as Doc and Puzzle of a Downfall Child; none of which garnered much popularity.
However, her career took off after playing a part in Stanley Kramer’s Oklahoma Crude. Critics loved her performance, and from here, she was cast in many other productions. She even earned a nomination for a Golden Globe and a BAFTA, for appearing in Chinatown.
