The now 86-year old actress is still as elegant and captivating as ever. Life behind the lens was a tough one, but just how much could Barbara Eden take?

Barbara Jean Morehead, born August 23, 1931, was the only child to parents Alice Mary and Hubert Henry Morehead. Eden’s parents split when she was younger, and after being born in Arizona, she and her mother relocated to San Francisco. Eden’s mother remarried to Harrison Connor Huffman, and they had a daughter together, giving Eden a half-sister.

The early years

The family was majorly impacted by The Great Depression meaning they were unable to afford luxuries. Their mother would sing to the children as entertainment, giving Eden her first taste of music!
