Gamora is an alien (or, rather, non-human) character from the sci-fi monster hit movie Guardians of the Galaxy. She is the adopted daughter of Thanos and the last of her species. Her powers include instant healing, superhuman strength and superhuman agility. Despite her delicate frame and flowing maiden hair, Gamora is actually one of the best fighters on her team and has successfully fought some of the strongest and most formidable opponents in the entire galaxy. It’s almost perfect that she is portrayed by none other than Zoe Saldana, an actress who is no stranger to the fictional worlds of the supernatural – and this is perhaps why she is such a natural as Gamora.
