The couple was supposed to tie the knot in September 2003, but just one day before the ceremony, everything fell apart. They announced that the wedding was postponed, and there was no indication of how long for. Although Affleck and Lopez blamed it on the interference of the media, there was obviously something bigger at play here.
It was only a few months later that the pair announced they were separating, and the world let out a collective gasp. So many people assumed these two would always be the real deal.
