Lopez has previously referred to her split from Affleck as being her “first big heartbreak,” but obviously the pain didn’t last for that long. Within days of their breakup, J-Lo was getting cozy with record producer and friend, Marc Anthony.
She wanted to ease the pain of her separation by finding comfort with another person, and Anthony offered her that assistance. Whether or not Lopez intended to fall back in love so fast is unknown, but she was soon enamored with her old friend and ready to try marriage again.
