According to Tony, this dissatisfaction with the dress code and its enforcement is common among girls at the school. They expressed that all they wanted was to be comfortable during the hotter months, but that the school forces them into wearing outfits that make them extremely uncomfortable in the heat, for reasons that seem unfair and particularly discriminatory.
Many of them feel that their outfits are entirely acceptable, but that the school pursues a much harder standard when it comes to the clothing of female students as opposed to male students.
