[post_page_title]Parental dissent[/post_page_title]
Tony was incredibly disappointed by the school’s response. While he agreed that some form of dress code was necessary to avoid inappropriate clothing, he thought the school’s definition of inappropriate was ridiculous, and its punishment of students erratic and discriminatory.
He felt that the clothes his daughter and other girls at the school wanted to wear were entirely appropriate, and that treating something as innocuous as a spaghetti strap top as unacceptable was foolish. All Demetra wanted was to be comfortable, and she was being barred from doing so for dubious reasons.
