[post_page_title]A rundown property[/post_page_title]
It was back in 2012 that Chip and Joanna saw and fell for their project house. Over the years, we have seen them turn a whole host of rundown houses into family homes. Now, it was time to recreate the same look for their own purchase.
Sadly, the farmhouse had just two bedrooms as well as an attic that needed completing. With six in their family, they would need to find a lot of space. Thankfully, both Chip and Joanna fell for the outdoor area complete with a forest-worth of oak trees.

It turned out the farmhouse was about to become an even bigger project than either Chip or Joanna had ever imagined.
The couple were still busy working on other properties and ended up spending 18 months on the renovation of their own home. However, they were about to discover a long history of the house. No one had any idea when the home was built, but papers from 1895 suggested there was a lot of history within the four walls.
