The relatives of Hannah and Lauren are well aware of what people have said about the light online, but they’re not bothered by it.
Their interpretation is just as valid as everyone else’s, and they believe that the picture is a sign their faith is justified. There might not have been a light shining down on the car when the crash happened, but they know that Hannah, Lauren, and Alannah are being treated well in the afterlife. If they didn’t have that thought, the loss would tear them apart.
