Although Alicia had been able to claw back her career, it looked as though the turn of the century was about to mark an entirely new start for the actress. Alicia decided to take a step back from the limelight as she worked on smaller projects instead.
Some of her many productions saw Alicia starring in film adaptations of plays. The variety of the roles meant Alicia was forced to perfect her singing and dancing – something that would later pave an entirely new career.
