It seemed as though life for Alicia was getting back on track. The star has been with her boyfriend, Christopher Jarecki, since 1997, and the pair had been dating for eight years before they finally tied the knot in 2005.
The couple enjoyed many of the same values and spent plenty of their time living together in an eco-friendly house. Alicia also had plenty of time to work alongside more stars in Hollywood as she took a part in the action comedy Tropic Thunder.
