Her time in the movie was just what Alicia needed to make herself a household name. However, she never imagined where the role would lead. It wasn’t long after the release of the 1992 movie that music video director, Marty Callner, contacted the actress.
He was working with Aerosmith and thought Alicia had the perfect face for their video for Cryin’. Alicia agreed, and the role would see her not only land two more music videos with the band but also earned Alicia the nickname of “Aerosmith chick.”
