Alicia signed up to play the role of Batgirl in the superhero movie Batman and Robin in 1997. Although superhero films now dominate a considerable portion of the market, they weren’t quite at the same level before the turn of the century.
Alicia was greeted with mostly negative reviews as people questioned the entire plot and declared it as one of the worst movies of all time. To top it off, Alicia even won a Razzie Award as the Worst Supporting Actress for her character. Ouch.
