Meredith and Clint both tried to call Brian before they left, but it was going straight to voicemail. They weren’t alone. Alexis also tried to call Brian the following day. She assumed that he was still asleep after his big night out on the town.
However, she grew more and more worried as the day went on, and she couldn’t contact her partner. Apparently, Alexis had spoken to Brian before he headed out, where he confessed that it was a chance to talk to his friends about their relationship.
