So when the Tsar was overpowered by the Bolsheviks, who took over, his surviving relatives fled to the UK.
Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna had no money or home, so King George V, Queen Elizabeth’s grandfather, allowed her to live in Frogmore along with her children .
