Another priority of the Duke and Duchess is privacy. They ran into some trouble earlier this year when they realized that it was possible for people to see into some of their windows.
So they embarked on an ambitious project to shield their home from public view by planting trees and shrubs around the property. This, together with the price of keeping enough security personnel nearby, costs a whopping $950,000. Some taxpayers are up in arms about the amount that Meghan and Harry continue to spend.
