Even though the children have been living with Angie since the split, Brad has visitation rights and is also supposed to pay child support. Some of the recent renewed tension between Jolie and her ex-husband is reportedly due to him not paying the amounts he owes, something he denies.
Jolie still insists on sole custody even though Pitt wants shared. He has publicly admitted he stopped drinking, which has given some people reason to believe the rumors were true and Jolie divorced him due to his substance abuse negatively affecting their family.
