Jolie and Pitt have admitted developing a strong friendship during the filming of Mr. and Mrs. Smith and after Pitt’s divorce him and Jolie began making public appearances together. They were first spotted vacationing in Kenya with Jolie’s adoptive son Maddox, which definitely added to the already existing rumors of an affair between the two having taken place prior to Brad’s divorce.
Six months after the trip Jolie adopted a second child from Ethiopia, named Zahara, and although Pitt was not part of the adoption process he continued to be seen publicly with Jolie and her young family. At this point it was obvious the two were a couple and they soon became Hollywood’s new it couple.
