In January of 2006 the couple announced their first pregnancy, less than a year after Brad had parted ways with Anniston. The pregnancy was somewhat of a surprise as Angelina had recently adopted her second child, but the exciting news along with Brad adopting both Maddox and Zahara proved the two were in it for the long haul.
The couple’s first biological daughter Shiloh-Jolie Pitt was born in Namibia on May 27th 2006. The unusual birth location ensured they were far away from the paparazzi, enabling them to enjoy the sacred moment in private with only immediate family members present. They later on sold the first images of Shiloh to Getty and donated all proceeds to charity.
