In July 2009, Anna and Chris attended a friend’s wedding, where they were enveloped in love and happiness. While we’re not quite sure what prompted them to do it, they decided that they didn’t want a fancy wedding in the United States.
They didn’t want to have to plan anything for months on end, and they didn’t have to worry about a guest list or a hefty price tag. So, on a whim, they decided to book flights to Bali in Indonesia and get hitched in paradise. It was later confirmed that they had eloped.
