While most of us had already known this for two decades, Dave Coulier – better known as Uncle Joey from Full House – came forward in 2013 and admitted that Alanis Morissette’s song You Oughta know is about him.
He said the biggest giveaway when he heard the song was the lyric “I hate to bug you in the middle of dinner” because Morissette called him once while he was eating dinner and he asked if he could call her later. He knew he was in trouble when he heard that line.
