Unfortunately, no matter what Ariel does, she simply can’t win. After years of being criticized for being “too big,” she’s now getting criticized for not being big enough. The Modern Family star uploaded a photo of herself on Instagram to celebrate her friend’s birthday, and a lot of people picked up on how much smaller she looked. In the picture, her frame appeared noticeably thinner than her fans were used to, and they couldn’t keep their comments to themselves.
Their insinuation that she was still not the right size left Ariel at an impasse. No matter how big or small she was, people were going to send her hate regardless. She figured she might as well give up trying because there was no way she could please everyone. However, the actress was spurred on to clap back once again after one comment rubbed her up the wrong way.
