It’s often hard to think of Hollywood A-listers as regular people, but that’s exactly what they were before they managed to sign their first contract. This was also the case for Robert Downey Jr., before he stepped into the shoes of characters such as Iron Man and Dr. Dolittle.
Rather than being a normal kid with a dream, Robert actually led a very rough life during his early years, late teens, and early 20s. He struggled with illegal substances and was even arrested numerous times before he eventually turned his life around.
