Despite his relatively short career, Chris Farley was a huge influence on the people around him, and had a huge impact on the way that comedy was performed during his brief time as a comedian.
As such, his friends and colleagues felt that it was only right that he be properly honored for this achievement, and Farley was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2005. The ceremony was attended by his longtime friends and colleagues David Spade, Chris Rock, and Adam Sandler.
