Farley’s personal life was often tumultuous, but he was very private about it, offering little information about his romantic endeavors. One of the relationships he did have was with Erin Maroney, who was an assistant for Lorne Michaels when she and Farley met.
Although the relationship seemed happy for a time, they would eventually break up, potentially because of the struggles Farley went through. Maroney would eventually become a writer for ‘Saturday Night Live’.
