The comedic team of Chris Farley, David Spade, Chris Rock, and Adam Sandler was one based on a strong friendship and that proved creatively fruitful for all involved. As such, it was planned that the four of them would make a film together, about a group of old friends who reunite as adults for screwball comedic adventures.
Obviously, however, Farley’s passing brought this project to a halt. The film would eventually be made and released as ‘Grown Ups’ in 2010, with Kevin James taking Farley’s place.
