Chris Farley was a big fan of music, and had a particular connection to rock band the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. In 1993, Farley appeared in the music video for the song ‘Soul to Squeeze’, which was featured on the soundtrack of the film ‘Coneheads’, in which Farley made a cameo.
After Farley’s passing, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers paid tribute to one of the most unique presences in comedy with a song – mentioning Farley in the song ‘Purple Stain’ from their hit 1999 album ‘Californication’.
